July 2006 - New Hampshire Photo Coverage Expansion
Col-East greatly expanded it's photo coverage in southeastern New Hampshire this past spring flying season. The 1"=500' photography is suitable for 40 scale mapping with 2' contours. The imagery was obtained for an area from Dover to Concord, through Goffstown and Amherst. The imagery was exposed only under optimal conditions with our Zeiss LMK camera equipped with Forward Motion Compensation and a gyro-stabilized mount.
March 2006 - RM3 Scanner Installed
August 2005 - Scanner Upgrade
July 2005 - Aircraft Upgrade
The month of July (and part of August) was spent upgrading the “front office” of our camera platform. We installed a new state-of-the-art GNS 480 flight management system and MX-20 multifunction display (both by Garmin) in addition to replacing the instrument panel (and everything behind it), overhauling and/or replacing most of the instrumentation and replacing the instrument lighting system. Dual everything will enhance our dispatch reliability and data link traffic avoidance information will be very helpful as we perform much of our work in the busy Boston and New York terminal areas.
May 2005 - Fourth Softcopy Workstation Installed
New equipment aids in providing clients the very best photogrammetric mapping delivered on time and within budget. In May, Col-East added another softcopy system to our list of photogrammetric equipment. The additional softcopy workstation will be used for DEM production and photogrammetric mapping.
March 2005 - Digital Aerial Triangulation
Col-East added a fully digital aerial triangulation (AT) system. Digital AT allows us to perform faster AT and to perform many measurements before survey values are even available. AT results can now be available within minutes of the receipt of coordinate values from the surveyor.
