Col-East, Inc. has specialized in aerial photography for topographic mapping since 1952. Our photographic laboratory produces photo products and provides other reproduction services for our mapping department and our commercial customers.
Products
Col-East uses a variety of methods of image acquisition. Options include black and white, color negative, false color infrared, and black and white infrared.
Photo mosaics can be created with a number of individual images being mosaicked together to form a single composite image. This technique allows the user to view a larger area than can be covered on one photo alone. The final product may be in one or more pieces measuring up to 48" by 96" per piece. Photo enlargements can be produced in these large sizes also, with magnifications up to 15x. Orthophotos can be produced too. Nearly every photo product can be supplied in a digital format also, with delivery on CD, tape or through the Internet and e-mail.
We are always striving to have recent photography throughout the northeast, however it is not always possible to have every area covered with the desired specifications. For these situations we will coordinate with you in obtaining new photography of your site.
